Whether you are planning your holiday with us or would like to use the Windegg Manor as a location for an event, here we answer some of the most frequently asked questions.

How many people can celebrate at the Windegg Manor?

Depending on the chosen venue, the manor can host both intimate celebrations in small groups and large parties. Whether it's a stylish party for 10 people in the Blue Hall or a lavish celebration with up to 300 guests in the courtyard, we offer the perfect setting for unforgettable moments.

When do the celebrations have to end?

You are welcome to enjoy your celebration until 2.30 am and experience unforgettable moments. However, as the Windegg Manor is located in the centre of Kaltern, we are committed to maintaining a respectful atmosphere towards our neighbours. This also means that music can only be played until 1:30 a.m.

In special cases, exceptions are possible, but these will be reviewed individually and are subject to additional costs. Please contact us if you have any special requests; we will be happy to find a solution together.

Is the Windegg Manor barrier-free?

Our premises are accessible to all guests: with the exception of the garden, all areas of the manor are barrier-free. This means that all visitors can move freely and unhindered, both indoors and in the event areas. If you have any special requirements, please do not hesitate to contact us, we will help you to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Is there a catering offer or can I bring my own food?

For smaller celebrations, we are happy to cook ourselves if our capacity allows. You are also welcome to bring your own food and drinks. For larger celebrations, you are welcome to book an external catering service. If you are looking for one, we would be happy to recommend our partners.

The manor has 2 professionally equipped kitchens including a cold store.

Are tables and chairs available at the manor?

Yes, we are happy to provide you with a basic set of tables and chairs. Additional furniture, decoration or special event equipment can be hired from external partners.

How many guests can attend an event at the Windegg Manor?

The number of guests depends on the type of event. For indoor events, there is enough space for up to 150 people, while outdoor celebrations can accommodate up to 300 guests. We recommend discussing capacity requirements in advance.

Is there a car parking for event guests?

A few steps away from the Windegg Manor there is a pay car park that can be used. A limited number of cars can park directly in the courtyard upon request. Please let us know in advance.

Are there accommodation options for guests attending an event?

Depending on the booking situation, your guests are welcome to stay overnight in our 6 holiday flats. We ask for your understanding that this is only possible by prior arrangement because the holiday flats are often fully booked, especially in the high season.

Is audiovisual equipment available for presentations or music?

We can provide a flipchart and a screen. Audio equipment, projectors and similar items can be rented externally.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is usually possible from 15:00, check-out until 10:00. Individual arrangements are possible depending on availability.

Which payment methods are accepted for the booking?

The flat is reserved upon payment of a deposit of 300 euros. Cash payments of up to 2,999.00 euros can be accepted on site. For higher amounts, we request that you make a bank transfer in advance. We also accept payments by credit card or EC card.

Does the kitchen have everything I need?

The kitchen is fully equipped. You will find some dishwasher tablets to start in the cupboard. Please return your dishes to the cupboards clean and dry. If you find that anything is missing, please let us know. There are 10 espresso tablets (for a fee) in your apartment. If you need some more, just let us know. Cleaning products and accessories can be found in the cupboard in the living room.

Are there hiking trails or cycle routes nearby?

Yes, the Windegg Manor is located in the centre of Kaltern, in an area with many hiking and cycling trails. There are routes for all levels of difficulty, from leisurely walks to challenging mountain tours. Some of the routes start directly from the estate.

How far is the manor from the nearest supermarket or restaurant?

Shopping facilities, restaurants and shops are just a few minutes' walk away.

Are pets allowed in the flats?

Pets are only allowed in the Vernatsch holiday flat.

Maximum one pet, € 10.00 surcharge per day. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Pets are not allowed in the swimming pool area. The owner is liable for any damage caused.

Is there WLAN in the flats?

Yes, all our holiday flats have free and stable WLAN.

What is the difference between the flats for farm holidays and the other flats?

Our four farm holiday flats are located in a new building right next to the pool, while the two flats are located in an annex of the historic manor. The flats have been recently renovated and refurbished and offer modern comforts.

The common area with pool, whirlpool and barrel sauna is available to all flats.
